ReplyDeleteI thought that about Chumley, who died in January 2007. He was with me less than 6 full years. And Annie died in February 2011, it will be a decade that she's gone, about the same amount of time she was with me. They certainly left a lasting impression on my heart, though, as all our beloved companions do. ♥
It sure is difficult sometimes, or most times.
