Miss Boo prepares to open her Secret Paws package from Darling Millie!
Oh this is wrapped so nicely and I think it has some of Millie's sweet scents.
Look at all the wonderful things that came in my Secret Paws Package!
I got treats and stinky goodness a wonderful mousies and even a squiggle! Oh and Mom got some chocolate. Wow!!
Give that Mousie to me Momma!

Oooooooooo Millie thank you for everything. I love love love it! Just wish Momma would have gotten the pictures off of the camera before now!

Finally Friday: Mr Jinx Takes A Snooze

Our Mr Jinx is one big teddy bear of a kitty.

His needs are few, a nice comfy spot to rest his head and a big bowl of food every few hours. As you can imagine his food needs aren't met as frequently as his sleeps needs.

He is such a good cat.

He is a father figure to all the other cats, and even Abby allows Jinx to groom her.

But he does have a playful side to his purrsonality.

Occassionally he will get a wild hair up his tail and he will bedevil Ping in a mad game of chase.

Did I mention that he is such a good cat?

He has such soulful green eyes and he is a beautiful mix of grey tabby fur.

We love our Mr. Jinx and he is a real hero to our little tribe.

You see Jinx was the one who brought Ping and Boo to our house oh so many years ago.

He knew that he had found the place where they would all be safe after being so callously dumped by their former "nice" people.

And you know what?

Mr.Jinx was right.

They are safe.

They are home.

Forever.

Happy Purrmonth my gorgeous girl!

Since Boo came to us through abandonment, we had to 'guessestimate' her age. The vet said she was about 6 months old when she arrived at our doorstep, so we deemed October her birth month. She turned 5 and I look back and wonder where did all that time go?

Finally Friday: REFLECTIONS

Momma was trying to be 'artistic'. She found me lying in the afternoon sun getting a nice suntan and then she noticed the my reflection in the window and she said it made her think of all our furfriends that are at the bridge. She said that the thought (and she has some funny thoughts) of that semi transparent image reminded her of those who crossed over to the Bridge. What do you think?

The other evening as Abby lay beside me she quietly slipped her little paw into my hand and slowly retracted her claws to hold on. She was purring softly as she did this. She was happy and purrerating. It warmed my heart ... and hers as well I believe.
